Since its inception in 1996, by Richard "Speedy Legs' Fernandez & Steven "Zulu Gremlin" Roybal, the PRO-AM Dance Conference has been instrumental in bringing together thousands of the world's best dancers and talent to Miami Beach. Many of the performers, panelists and champions are featured in the latest Hollywood Blockbusters, Music Videos and Television Dance Shows. Over the years, the family friendly event has received a tremendous amount of international media acclaim as well as support from corporate sponsors and non-profit organizations.
Attendance ranges from 250 to 2,500+ attendees per event and has been held at prestigious venues like: the Ramada, Coconut Grove Convention Center, Bicentennial Park, Howard Johnson, Miami Beach Senior High, 73 Street Bandshell, 21 Street Rec Center, Eden Roc, Gusman Center, Tropical Park, Power Studios, Northshore Community Center, Miami Light Project Studios, 163rd Street Mall, Ice Palace studios, Hollywood Police Athletic League & many popular Miami hot spots.
