Objective: By the conclusion of this workshop the student will have increased their awareness of Hip-Hop history; realized the connection between urban street culture and all other aspects of life, learned a new style of dance, movement and rhythm, and have a new awareness and self-confidence in themselves.

WEEK TWO, 10/1/03, 6:00pm: Breakin' Early Roots, B-Boy techniques: Poppin

WEEK THREE, 10/8/03, 6:00pm: Rapping Early roots and influences, B-Boy techniques: Lockin'

WEEK FOUR, 10/15/03, 6:00pm: Aerosol Art, B-Boy techniques: Up-Rock

WEEK FIVE, 10/22/03, 6:00pm: Video, B-Boy techniques: Advanced

WEEK SIX, 10/29/03, 6:00pm: Live DJ demonstration, rap and evolution, jam session

*LIMITED SPACE! EACH COURSE IS OPEN ONLY TO THE FIRST 15 PEOPLE WHO REGISTER.

Fee: $60 per course or $15 per two-hour class
